Three puzzles to be solved for a young prince before he can close his chosen bride into his arms. Three - the magic number of all fairy tales. Even Cinderella has to transformed three times to find the key to her personal happiness.

When can I visit the exhibition?

The exhibition can be seen only in winter (currently: 11/12/2016 - 02/26/2017) and open daily 10:00 to 18:00 (last admission 17.00), except Monday.

How much is the admission to the exhibition?

Ticket rate is 8.00 EUR, reduced 4.00 EUR.
In Addition there are two family tickets available. One for a price of 8.00 EUR (1 adult + max. 2 children) and one for 16.00 EUR (2 adults + 4 children max.).

Where can I get tickets for the exhibition?

Tickets for the exhibition can be purchased at the box office or in advance.

What does the word "time window ticket" mean?

The intake periods for tickets purchased in advance are divided into so-called "time window". A window of time is 1 hour.

Example: With the purchased ticket you can enter in the exhibition between 13:00 to 2:00 p.m. within one hour. How long did you stay in the exhibition, is irrelevant.

Experience has shown that the acquisition of the time window for tickets at the weekends, holidays and during the holidays it is recommended especially in the morning / midday.

How much time do I need to visit the exhibition?

You should plan about 1 to 1.5 hours for the visit.

When can I visit the Baroque days of the castle?

For organizational and security reasons Baroque Exhibition & Feather room must remain closed during the winter. As of April 2017, the baroque castle starts back in the new season.

Can I take my dog into the exhibition?

No, dogs may not be taken into the exhibition.
This rule also applies to small dogs in brought bags.

Can I take pictures in the exhibition?

Yes, this year even without extra charge! In our panel corner photography is even encouraged. Of course, it may be photographed in all other showrooms for private purpose.

At dawn the cold season Cinderella conquered the castle. In the German-Czech film from 1973 it touches with its bold, shrewd kind to date in a unique way. As the original location, the fairytale castle Moritzburg told at his winter exhibition some background stories about the film and the career of the fairy tale. Lovingly recreated scenes, original costumes and multimedia productions convey the magic of film. At the end of the tour the castle kitchen beckons with delicious coffee and cake. The Museum Shop keeps ready loving little things for large and small fans

Also in 2016 Moritzburg transformed again into the magical fairy tale setting. Beginning in November secrets and undiscovered background stories about the movie and the story to be aired again. More than 600,000 visitors were swept away by the magical productions. Exploit the chance to follow the footsteps of the naughty fairy princess.

The prince

Cinderella (Libuše Šafránková) observed the prince secretly during the Hunting.

Freely after the fairy tale Cinderella tells Writer František Pavlíček the story of Cinderella, an orphan who lives on a large farm with her stepmother and her daughter Dora.

While the stepmother and the rabble expect the king, who is looking for a wife for the Prince, Cinderella rides into the forest. There she meets for the first time on the prince and his friends.

As in the original fairy tale, the king organized a ball on which the stepmother and Dora are invited. Excited they prepare everything and send the servant Vincek to get rich fabrics. To Cinderella he brings "whatever comes to his nose": a branch with three hazelnuts.

The magic power of the nuts

In the attic - Cinderella's secret hiding - she finally discovered the magic of the nuts.

The first Nut hides a hunting costume. Dressed as a hunter she meets the hunting party of the Prince and get elected to the king of shooters. The second nut unveiled a prom dress in which she sneaks up on the ball of the king. Enchanted by the beauty of the girl, the Prince wants to marry her. Previously the prince has to solve the three riddles.

At first the mystery remains unsolved and Cinderella leaves the ball. She loses their shoe and the prince find it. He swears that to take the bride that suits the shoe and follows Cinderella to the farm.

The search for the bride

In their secret hiding place in the attic Cinderella discovered the magical power of the three nuts.

Dressed into Cinderella's ball dress Dora appears, but she does not want to try on the shoe. Outraged stepmother and Dora flee. The Prince followed them and discovered the fraud. Discouraged returns the prince back to the farm.

There Cinderella already waiting, dressed into a wedding dress - the last secret of the three hazelnuts. The prince solves the three riddles and ask for the hand of the heroine.

Please note that only the exhibition "Three hazelnuts for Cinderella" will be shown at this time. The Baroque exhibition and the spring room can ONLY offered in connection with the daily palace tour at 11:00 (except Mon). The Porcelain Quarter is inaccessible in winter.

For the first time 2016/2017 the Baroque Exhibition & spring rooms can be visited! (Only done Tues - Sun at 11:00 hours and, appointment possible, special times for groups on request)
